How to Use a Customized Template for Your Blog

In our previous post, we discussed how to create your own blog using your Google account.

Today, I will show you how to use a ready-made blog template to improve the appearance of your blog.

Step 1: Search for Blogger Templates

Open Google or any other search engine and search for “Best free Blogger templates.”

From the search results, choose one of the top websites (the first, second, or third option).

Step 2: Choose a Template

Once the website opens, you will find many Blogger templates. Browse through them and select the one you like for your blog.

Step 3: Download the Template

After opening the template’s page, click Download to get the free version (most websites also offer a paid version, but for this guide, we will use the free one).

Step 4: Extract the Template File

The downloaded file will usually be in ZIP format. Extract the file, and inside the folder, you will find a file with the .xml extension.

Open this file using any text editor, such as Notepad or Notepad++, and copy all the HTML code from it.

Step 5: Open Your Blogger Account

Log in to your Blogger account at https://www.blogger.com/.

Go to Theme and click Customize HTML. The current HTML code of your blog will appear in the editor.

Step 6: Replace the Existing HTML Code

Replace the existing HTML code with the code you copied from the template, then save your changes.

That’s it! You have successfully replaced your blog’s default template with a customized one.
