How to Restart or Factory Reset Your Android Phone
Welcome to BasanzieTech. Today, I will explain how to restart or factory reset your Android phone step by step.
Sometimes, an Android phone may freeze unexpectedly for no apparent reason. Although this can be frustrating, the problem can often be resolved by restarting the device, also known as a reboot or soft reset. This process refreshes your phone without deleting your photos, applications, or settings.
How to Soft Reset (Restart) Your Android Phone
If your phone freezes, press and hold the power button for approximately 30 seconds until the device restarts.
If the problem continues, you may need to perform a factory reset. This is a more advanced procedure that erases all data on your device and restores it to the manufacturer's original settings. This process is also known as a hard reset or formatting.
However, a factory reset does not downgrade your phone to an older Android version. Once your operating system has been updated, a factory reset will not roll it back.

Warning: A factory reset will erase everything stored in your phone's internal storage, including photos, files, and applications. Make sure you back up your important data before proceeding.
The general steps may vary depending on your phone model and Android version.
Open Settings, then navigate to Backup & reset or Factory data reset, depending on your device.
Enter your passcode when prompted.
Tap Erase everything to confirm.
Once the process is complete, restart your phone and restore your backed-up data.

If your Android phone is experiencing minor problems, consider trying these less drastic options before performing a complete factory reset.
Reset Settings: This option restores the default settings for system and manufacturer applications without affecting personal data, security settings, language settings, or account settings.
Reset Network Settings: This option resets your Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth configurations. Make sure you have saved your Wi-Fi password somewhere else before proceeding.
Tip: If you cannot find the factory reset option, use the search bar in your phone's Settings menu and type Factory reset.
Thank you very much.
